Always moisturise first... Did you know tallow can also act as a primer? Our Minimalist Blend, Our Sweet Blend or Our Anti-Inflammatory Blend will create a silky smooth base.

Moonlight - light: suits very fair skin

Sandstone - medium: suits fair/lightly tanned/olive skin

Chestnut - dark: suits tanned/darker skinned honeys

Our untinted zinc is perfect for eczema, nappy rash, dermatitis, psoriasis and other skin conditions providing anti-inflammatory properties. On some darker skin tones, it will leave a slight white cast.

As our tinted zinc does not provide full coverage, they are able to suit a variety of skin tones. If you are unsure what shade to buy, please send us a photo of yourself in natural light, unedited of course and we can help you out!

- We do not market this as a surf zinc - it is designed for every day wear and dips in the ocean. It is not thick like typical surf zincs, although some of our customers have enjoyed wearing this in the water. If you are after a thicker, more durable zinc in the water, try our Sun Slap surf zinc.

Non-nano zinc oxide: provides a physical layer of protection against environmental exposure with soothing and skin-conditioning properties, to calm sensitive or damaged skin.

Organic MCT oil: A lightweight, fast-absorbing oil derived from coconut, MCT oil helps soften and condition the skin without leaving a heavy or greasy feel. Smoothing while supporting the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Organic castor oil: Naturally rich in ricinoleic acid, castor oil is a wonderfully nourishing and conditioning oil that helps soften dry skin and lock in moisture.

Raspberry seed oil: A lightweight, nutrient-rich natural oil that deeply hydrates and protects the skin. It is packed with healthy omega fatty acids and vitamins that strengthen your skin barrier. These active ingredients fight aging signs like fine lines, calm redness, and soothe irritation. It also provides mild support against sun damage and works well for dry, sensitive, or acne-prone skin types without blocking pores.

Grass-fed suet: Our grass-fed suet is rendered and purified in-house to create a deeply nourishing, skin-loving fat that closely complements the skin’s natural lipid barrier. Rich in fatty acids and fat-soluble nutrients, tallow helps replenish moisture, soften dry skin and support a healthy-looking skin barrier without the need for unnecessary fillers or emulsifiers.

Does tallow clog your pores?

Tallow is non-comedogenic meaning it won't clog your pores. For our core tallow cream range we formulate our tallow with organic cold-pressed jojoba oil instead of olive oil or coconut oil which are known to clog the pores. Jojoba oil mimics human sebum and is recognised by your own skin oils.

Is tallow suitable for my skin type?

Yes! That's literally why tallow is so amazing. It helps balance your natural oil production making it great for not just dry skin but oily complexions too. If your skin is on the oilier side - you may want to start slow. Try every other day to being with and remember, a little goes a long way!
